Welcome to Abbott & Stour Group!

Abbott and Stour is the local group for TR Register members in Suffolk.

Abbott and Stour Group of the TR Register were formed in March 1979. Of the present members, Peter Hudspith has the earliest memory of the group meeting in 1983 at its present location, The Manger Pub at Bradfield Combust.  The Group changed pubs several times but has always retuned to The Manger. The membership, which has gone up and down, is now a thriving group of enthusiastic TR owners.

Our membership represent most of the TRs, from TR2 to TR7s. Two members have Peerless on the road, one of them, Celia, races hers and is well known in the TR community.

Club Nights are informal meetings where the interest and enthusiasm of TR owners is enhanced through socialising, friendship, and technical support. Irene Tydeman runs the Club and organises the Club Runs, Visits and our annual Christmas Dinner, always welcoming new ideas and suggestions from our members.

We meet on the second Tuesday each month at The Manger Pub Bradfield Combust. If you want to join us you will be made to feel very welcome.
