This year's AGM was well attended, even more so due to the election of a new Eastern Region coordinator.

Ian Freeman received most votes on the day so a very warm welcome to Ian as our new Eastern Region coordinator.

Other business in brief:

currently 6742 members; 8040 including family members
only 40 members less than last year, so decline is slowing down
1st year leavers reducing; hoping new 'Welcome DVD' will improve retention
TR Register now have a 'Mission' and 'Vision' statement
looking to increase benefits for members; improvements to:- PR/marketing; increase archives; internet use; communications; overseas membership; TR7 support; knowledge of suppliers; better understanding of members requirements; exploit TR Register brand; etc
2200 attended the 2010 IWE - Register broke even on expenses
2011 in Harrogate and includes Friday evening dinner/dance (book in advance)
promotion of TR7 - seen as entry level classic vehicle to TR Register
increase in membership fees voted/approved: member £42, overseas £48
