Pictures of both cars, the Peerless is "mine" and the Warwick is "Ians" although of course we share both! The Peerless is a 1958 GT Phase One with a 1991 cc TR3A engine in it, the Warwick is a 1961 GT 350 with a Buick 3.5 V8 in it.   A short resume of the background of the Warwick racing at Snetterton on April 5th. The first time a Warwick GT 350 raced was in 1961, at Snetterton it was primrose yellow and number 24 (white letters on a black background,) and our car is all of those. Also unbeknown to us we were sharing garage 15 with our friend, that is the same number garage that the original car had in 1961, spooky or what? So we did what we wanted and re-created history!

The provisional diary for racing for the Warwick GT 350 is at Silverstone on Sunday May 17th. Myself driving in the Classic and Historic race with the Classic Touring Car Racing Club. Then Bank holiday Monday May 26th in the Jigsaw Triumph race (30 mins) at Mallory Park. We also hope to race it at that meeting with the Swinging Sixties, a 40 minute two driver race with the Classic Sports Car Club. Don't know about the Peerless yet, depends on finance etc!

We are not able to enter the Legends race at Le Mans with the Peerless this year as the entry fee is £2,950.00 for a 45 min race. Even if we could afford it we would seriously think twice about that! Unfortunately it has stopped our dream of running the Peerless at Le Mans five years on the trot as that probably would never have been done by any car again, owing to the different year eligibility needed for the Legends races.
