January's Events
January is a quiet month as we recover from the Christmas festivities. However our regular monthly meeting at the Manger Public House in Bradfield Combust includes the Annual General Meeting when our Events List is discussed and produced.

Sunday 13th April
April Showers Run organised by Bob Bell. Meet at Tesco's car park Bury St Edmunds. An interesting run followed by lunch at a mystery destination.
Sunday 20th April
Drive It Day organised by Irene Tydeman our Group Leader. Meet at the Lorry Park off the A14 near Haughley at 10.15 am. Contact Irene 01449 674498 for further details.

Saturday 10th May
Visit a Rolls Royce restoration company P. A. Woods in Dunmow Essex "one of the few companies able to complete an entire restoration on the premises, from mechanical work, machining and engineering, to coachwork and interior trim" On the morning of Saturday, 10th May the club is visiting the workshops and showroom of P & A Wood, who specialise in the renovation and restoration of Rolls Royce and Bentleys, both classic and newer models. Their headquarters are at Great Easton, on the B184 between Gt Dunmow and Thaxted, a very pretty area of North Essex. A local pub does a good, reasonably priced, pub lunch, then in the afternoon we’re off to near Audley End to visit a hangar where there are old aircraft and various bits of aviation history and we may be lucky enough to see a Spitfire.

Trip to St Georges Distillery where The English Whisky Co. is being established as the first and only registered whisky distilling company in England. Contact Irene Tydeman 01449 674498 for details.
