HSCC Historic Festival - Report by Irene Tydeman

David and I, Peter and Maureen in our TR's met up with 12 other TRs belonging to members of the East Saxons to drive to Brands Hatch last Sunday for the above Festival.

We were parked at Southbank amongst Kent Group and about 20 Triumph Stags!  Great position to watch all the different races on offer.  There was 1970's F1 cars, Formula Ford, Historic Saloon Cars, Classic Formula 3, 70's Road Sports etc. etc.  Not all the drivers were British - some coming as far afield as New Zealand, Belgium, and the USA.  A great cross section with quite a few thrills and spills.

Lots of things for the kids to play on plus stalls, shops etc for the bigger kids.  A couple of dragsters were also on show!
