Neville's TR2 and Triumph Spitfire
Neville owns the oldest car in the Abbott and Stour Group. His TR2 was built in December 1953 and registered in January 1954. The black long door TR2 had lived in Essex for all of it's life until Neville bought the car 6 years ago and brought it to Suffolk. For over 40 years it was owned by one person. Neville had a long door TR2 in his 20's so when the opportunity arose to own one again he could not resist. The car is more or less original, one of the 4,000 long door TR2's made before they were modified to short door. Neville does not drive his TR2 car in the rain, if he can help it, preferring to use his Triumph Spitfire.
