Observation Road Run - Treasure Hunt

Peter and Maureen Hudspith organised this day for the Abbott and Stour Group.  We met at The Manger Pub and after a briefing from Peter, and the opportunity to choose our lunch from the pub menu, we set off at 5 minute intervals.
 
The 58 mile run took the TRs on a varied and interesting route which took about 2hrs to complete. The clues required keen observation and, for some a step too far, necessitated getting out of the car.  There was also plenty of opportunity just to drive through the lovely countryside going to villages such as Poslingford, Clare, Brockley Green, Great and Little Thurlow.
 
The run finished back at the pub for a discussion about clues over a drink before lunch.  Nobody got all the answers, and nobody got all their answers right.  However 3 drew for first place with scores of 29 - Danny and Karen, Peter and Simon, and Barry and Anne.  A tie-break question asking for the date when the Almshouses in Little Thurlow were built gave Peter and Simon the treasure (bottle of wine).
