Woolpit Show Report by Irene Tydeman

The 31st May - 1st June was the weekend organised for the Woolpit Steam Fair.  The Saturday was very sunny and warm which brought Peter and Ian.  Paul and Lynne turned up for the whole weekend with their "Fergie" (tractor) complete with their new addition - a seed spreader.  Peter and Maureen, Neville and a friend Vince, David and myself attended on the Sunday in not such good weather conditions.  David and I arrived in my Herald Coupe - can't come in either TR because they are not pre-1965.  It came in clean but went home dirty - all the cars and us got a fair sprinkling of black smuts from the Traction Engines.  Apart from that, its a very good show and close to home.
