CVTR ANNUAL DINNER 2011 KINGS COURT HOTEL Another splendid evening organised as usual by Andrew Racy. The dining room was beautifully laid out... ...until the diners arrived! What IS Andy up to.... ...and why is Dave taking a picture of his wine glass Couldn’t avoid shiny surfaces at this table or at this one Dave Gillespie will be back - from an expedition to the bar.... Presentations: Lesley and Meg for all the hard work put in at Prescott and the International, but no flowers for Andy Phil Blake for best car....had a struggle to get Andy to let go of the trophy Ian Brown – the Tony Holland Trophy in recognition of a tremendous achievement in making it to the end of the Round Britain Reliability Run and an award for Tim and Martin who put in a magnificent effort but were beaten by mechanical problems Bob Heppel got the Sod’s Law award for not understanding the instructions at the Warwick Castle event Meg tried avoid winning the last raffle prize Then residents were evicted from the dining room to commence the serious drinking (1509), and at 2:30 am MOST of them managed to make it downstairs without mechanical assistance!
