About Us

The Cumbria Group of The TR Register was formed in 1992. During the winter months (November to February) we meet at the Windermere Hydro, Bowness on Windermere.

Throughout the summer we are out and about enjoying our cars in the most fantastic part of the U.K. we enjoy every type of event from traditional Sunday Afternoon picnics right through to weekends away, and an annual continental trip.
At the TR Registers' very own International Weekend we host a Barbecue and invite other local groups to join us, this can mean upwards of a 100 TR enthusiasts enjoying the night and swapping information and ideas in the most convivial of atmospheres. A MUST DO event for any TR Person.

In Cumbria, we are an enthusiastic bunch, and can promise you a friendly welcome if you come to one of our meets.

We have a level of expertise in our cars that we are sure you will find useful. Within the Group we have rebuilt every type of TR, from TR2 through to TR7, every aspect, Engines, Transmissions, Bodywork, Just ask-We CAN HELP.
