6th – 8th June 2008

Will we, won’t we take the TR today - that was the debate over breakfast. It was a very damp morning when 9 cars (you can tell who did and who didn’t!) assembled in a pub car park at Rowsley for the 32 miles drive to the Ladybower Inn. A well prepared route by Dave Sygrove (thanks Dave!) took us at a steady pace through Bakewell, Monyash, Peak Forest, Castleton to Bamford where a welcome pint and excellent Lunch was waiting.

Verdict: Pity about the weather but hey ho, we’ll do it again many times through the summer so watch this web page for details!
