28th April saw the first Devon TR Golf Challenge take place between Kevin Byrne (left), John Vincent (centre) and Martin Lovell (right), all being TR 6 owners. The Stableford contest was played out at Woodbury Park on the Oaks championship course in fine spring whether.
It was nip & tuck all the way around with never more than a couple of points between the three players who all scored well into ‘bandit’ territory. After holing out on the 18th the scores were Kevin 34, John 36 and Martin 37 points winning by just one point. After the match the three retired to the 19th hole (bar and patio) for refreshments and post match analysis.
The three hope to repeat the contest soon agreeing that playing golf on a normal work day made the whole event that much more enjoyable.
