The East Saxons Group of the TR Register was formed in 2003 in order to meet the expanding  needs of  TR enthusiasts in Essex .  The Group  has 3 well established meeting places. The Alma at Copford near Colchester (last Thursday of the month),  The Farmhouse Inn at  Monk Street near Thaxted (first Thursday of the month) and The Three Compasses West Hanningfield (second & third Thursday).  Full details can be found in the "How to Find Us" section, but please check with a committee  member if unsure.

The  Group, with over 50  current  members and  still growing,  is made up of  very active TR enthusiasts who enjoy attending shows and events around the Region, as well as arranging weekend holidays throughout the U.K. and also to the Continent.

Those members with time available during the week are also catered for with monthly “Explorers' Outings”.   We visit N.T. properties, vineyards, Stately Homes and speciality eating establishments.

The East Saxons Group produces a newsletter called The East Saxons Periodical. This literary masterpiece has articles, photos, and news of events past and future as well as information on the Group's activities.

There is no pressure on anyone to “join in”, we welcome everyone to our meetings so why not join us and enjoy a drink and some friendly chat with like-minded TR enthusiasts? The East Saxons are nowhere near as scary as their logo and some of them even know a bit about TRs.
