2007 saw Kennet Valley group celebrate 35 years since the official formation, although a group had met for two year's prior to this. Festivites were held in the form of a BBQ at Snelsmore Common, and an organised walk and talk around the common by the park warden. Dorset group members were invited, and despite the forecast inclement weather, turned out in style.
