About Us

The Kent TR Group (KTRG) is one of many regional groups of the international organisation for Triumph TR sports car enthusiast, the TR Register, which was formed in 1970 to further the interest in the TR series.

The Kent Group was established by a small group of enthusiasts in 1970 and has gone from strength to strength, to provide a focus for the Kent based TR enthusiast.

The current Kent Group membership stands at 332*.

During recent years Kent TR Group members have won national awards for their cars at the TR International Festival at Malvern, Worcestershire, ranging from Concours events to Pride of Ownership events.

We also maintain excellent relations with TR enthusiasts across the Channel in France, Belgium and Holland, and being so close to the continent, our members regularly travel abroad with their TRs.

What can we offer the TR enthusiast?

Kent Group members are spread all around the county therefore as a group we can offer two separate locations where we can meet for a cheerful libation, chat to other members about the technicalities regarding our cars and obtain help and advice, and discuss attending various events which may be forthcoming, and if there is nothing planned for the immediate future, some members organise outings there and then. We are also interested in cultivating links between our club and other club marques.
