The group reprised a very successful weekend in Suffolk, once again organised by Jane & Lawrence. We all travelled down to Long Melford where we stayed at the George & Dragon.
Trips out included Malden on the Thames, where we celebrated Malcolm Brown's birthday, a run to Lavenham for a bit of yer aktuell edyakashun and a trip round the Wilkins jam museum at Tiptree, meeting up with the Abbott & Stour group for a cream tea on the verandah. Top hole, wot, wot!
The evidence m'lud...........

Most of the usual suspects

Malden, by the Thames

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MALCOLM!

Sherry's splendid cake.
It didn't last long enough for rust to take hold of the car.

Are you sure these aren't two Polish blokes
that came up the estuary last night?

What happens when you are VERY full of beer. Mark frightened a lot of children when his safety valve blew.
One duck, though, has seen it all before......

The line-up with the Abbott & Stour group at Tiptree.

A shot of the museum.
Loads of jam on sale in the shop, oddly enough!

The TRs mark their territory in the customary manner and wend they way home.
I'm so glad it's not just my car that does this!

An early Barrett home.

Soaking up the info. If only the guide knew....

Ye do do ye hokey-cokey or it's the stocks for ye lot.

And finally back to what we all do so well.........
