London Group is one of oldest local groups in the TR Register – this means it was one of the first formed and not a comment on the age of the membership!  All this happened way back in 1970 and since then many people have enjoyed the friendship of the group whilst indulging in their passion for all things TR.

The group serves the whole of the London area, but our meeting place is situated to the west of the capital in Richmond.  It is a slightly later start, from 9pm onwards, than most local groups but this is to allow people to get home from a stressful day at work and allow for the heavy traffic we have to endure.  The bi-monthly meeting at The Rose of York are very relaxed and a warm welcome is extended to all who turn up. As well as the usual meetings, London Group also organise camping trips, barbecues, convoy runs and take part in several classic car gatherings, such as at Prescott in 2008.  

London Group always have a large presence at the TR Register International weekend.  For many years we have organised and run the Bring and Buy Autojumble, raising many pounds in the process, which was donated to help meet the running costs of TS2.  Members’ cars have won several awards at the International – ranging from best in class in the concours through to the wooden spoon for the most dilapidated car.
