December's Track Day at Goodwood in conjunction with the Goodwood Marshall's Club raised £5,680 for the Club who have donated £2,200 of equipment to St Richard's Hospital day cancer unit, and some of the committee members have been shown the unit in Chichester. The Marshall's Club has already provided six DVD screens and earphones for patients undergoing chemotherapy, which takes several hours at a time. A similar sum has been retained for club funds. £250 has been donated to Sussex Air Ambulance, which is currently based at Dunsfold near Guildford. The balance will pay the modest fee that Goodwood charges the marshalls’ club for the circuit.
