WELCOME TO WHARFEDALE TRs

The TR Register Wharfedale group was formed in 1984. The first meeting took place at The Red Lion Hotel in Burley-in-Wharfedale. We still have a few original members in the group. We meet at the Woolpack  in Esholt Village, "see the how to find us section)

The TV soap Emmerdale was originally filmed in and around Esholt.

The Wharfedale group area covers all of West Yorkshire part of North Yorkshire and Skipton “The gate way to the Yorkshire Dales”. We have members from as far away as York.

Our monthly meetings are informal. We discuss all aspects of TRing, and life and the universe in fact any thing! Along with the men folk, wife’s, partners and girl friends
attend. A light supper rounds the evening off.

Our activities include:-
- Club night and quizzes.
- Fixed annual runs.
- Attendance at shows.
- Attendance at other group events.
- Both the Lemans 24 hr and the 24 hr CLASSIC.
- Annual darts and pool with the Cleveland Group.

We organize evening runs plus a meal during the summer.
We organize our own major TR Event at CASTLE HOWARD.
